If anyone finds a knife somewhere along the creek in here (Quarry Road End) I will happily shout a box of beer to get it back

It’s a Muela Kodak in a leather sheath, I think it dropped out my pack when we stopped for a snack but could be anywhere along the creek.
While not an expensive knife, it was a 21st gift so has sentimental value.

Only noticed this week it was missing when I went to sort my pack to go for a walk.

    Cheers guys.

So took our international students for a walk in the bush today.

Not much sign around aside from a fawn track and some 3/4 day old red tracks.

Followed the watercourse up from manoeka road and got to an area that felt real familiar.
Had a quick look around and ,lo and behold, picked up my knife I had lost a year and a bit ago!

It’s looking a bit worse for wear but managed to get the marks off the blade with a bit of crc, hopefully the scales will shrink back when dry.
    The sheath should polish up.

So although no animals, stoked as with finding the knife my parents gave me for my 21st!

The girls had a great time in the bush too, loving the NZ life.

What are the odds? Good stuff.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

How lucky is that! Found it's way back to it's original owner.
