Tips for Haast Roar hunting 2022

    Hi All,

We have Hindley Creek for the first week coming up, and I've never hunted bush before, much less the thick stuff down there, so would love any tips anyone has for hopefully getting onto something.
Should we be sticking to the bush and looking to call stuff in? Mostly still hunting? Is it worth going up above the bush line?
Any specific tips for Hindley would be great too.

    Cheers in advance

Awesome thanks NRT. Is there a way to locate/find the trapping lines from the outside of the block? Or just have to stumble across them in the bush? Do they start out on the road?

Take a decent fly/tarp to set up a dry area to eat/relax under.
