Hey guys got a trip in november with sika foundation into waimarino landing site any info would be great the mate is bringing his oldman whos not long had a hip replacement hes come pretty good but still not hundy is he goin to cope in the terrain or will he end up camp cook ive never been in here before so no idea i see its fairly close to kiko rd so no doubt gets some pressure cheers

There is quite a bit of foot traffic through that way, and there are animals to hunt, but they are very switched on, even by sika standards. (well educated)
Ive only been through middle and upper reaches only. Bush is good. Riverbed well used by dear, plenty of opportunity to bag one this spring.
Just gotta be smarter than them,...

Cool area that i’ve visited once and my old man hunted a lot in his early days. Mostly bush with river flats. Do your usual spring hunting thing and should be away laughing
