Thread: WHos submitted on the HOSI amendment bill?

The amendment is to enable Herds of special interest in National Parks, by clarifying that the National Parks Act requirement to exterminate introduced species as far as possible doesn't apply to a designated herd of special interest.

Yes, submitted this morning.

I just wrote that I support it and that herds like the wapiti, sika, Tahr and whitetail need to be treated as a resource.

I just added that for recommendations that they need to let people such as the wapiti foundation. Who have real world experience have a say and regard twig n tweet with a grain of salt.

Just submit that you support it with your own thoughts/opinions on it. That's all that is required, it's a numbers game, far more qualified people/organisations will do the nuts & bolts/scientific stuff. Submitting & Supporting it is the key.
