Thread: Why we hunt.

If we didn't have the impulse to hunt the human race would have died out a lot time ago. You can't logically explain something that is a fundamental instinct and you can't expect a few generations of civilization to remove that instinct even if removing it was a good thing that we should encourage. All sports are a simulation of hunting (blokes chasing a ball around instead of a rabbit). The words themselves (sport, game) are derived from hunting.
