Thread: Why we hunt.

Sometimes I get asked, why do you hunt, is it the blood lust?
To which I normally walk away, you'll never understand I think.
No for me the venison is a very small part of it, for me it's about helping people secure there first deer, or first stag.
The enjoyment I get from that makes it all worthwhile, no matter how cold the weather or how high the hill.
Today's challenge 5 people after some firsts.
Unfortunately the weather was less than average for the young guys but tomorrow we'll finish it.
Not helped when you stalk into 125 yards of a stag, for the second deer of the day and then everyone wants a stag better.
Counting points in the rain no fun.
Especially when there's heaps of meat animals around.
