sounds like you just need a few sessions of gong busting with your good mates from the forum using their gear and then you can return the favor by taking them fishing on that sweet new boat

I have a real soft spot for mossberg pump shot guns and a strong dislike of their rifles
the look ok but they fall apart worse than any rifles iv ever seen. IE worse than norincos

I wouldn't pick 6.5 PRC either, it would be 300 PRC. There are still usable 30 cal projectiles around.

I personally like using a bigger projectile which make bigger splashes at the other end, easier to observe.

just make sure you got a good supply of ammo, hornady shipment hit stores pretty recently so they seem to all be pretty flush

I think I saw on here from DPT that you can use a standard muffler with 6.5prc. @Friwi ?
On factory length barrels you can use a standard suppressor for the 6.5 prc. Other wise go with a magnum if you are trimming your gun shorter.

If your going to reload, 6.5 bullets are hard to get but large rifle primes seem to be unobtanium..

You like nice things Ryan remember the Sauer that you hated. Atleast with a howa, Tikka etc you shouldn't lose much when you get bored especially if you buy one second hand.

It's only a gong gun 308 are cheap to feed unless you go down to 223 which are a bit cheaper and with budget in mind they will probably have the longest barrel life reducing the round cost too. If using for a hunting rifle then yeah a large 7mm or 30cal would be the go

After coming home nearly in tears yesterday after dragging my sako through blackberry and gorse and bush lawyer and shit for three hours I’ve decided I’m probably better off just investing some funds into a decent all round hunting rifle that I don’t mind knocking about
