The Ruger design is inferior compared to Kidd.

As to what is different in the design. It is like this. The 10/22 trigger mechanism is inside a box. Ruger designed one set of internals and placed it into that box. KIDD made a different design from the ground up, placed its design into a box of the same dimensions. it is two stage and it can make huge amount of adjustment. can be set to 3 ounce / 3 ounce.
