I have a Nikko Stirling Nighteater fixed power 6x36 on my older 22, it has served me well over the years and always been reliable.

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire on the other one is noticeably clearer and sharper image, I like it better.

I bought a 22 with a Bushnell AR223 BDC scope. The previous owner couldn't provide the distances for the reticle so one rainy Sunday afternoon I got on line and using online calculators worked worked backwards from the 223 ballistics to get drop and moa then forwards to give distances for the various subtensions of the reticle when shooting 42g winchester subs. Worked really well. Eventually changed the scope over to a Nikon prostaff rim fire scope, lighter and clearer at dusk.

I picked up a Nikon prostaff rimfire from Brownells for about $160nz to the door. They happened to have them on sale for $89us at the same time I was in the market for one. I have been really happy with it

Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9x with the mildot reticle works awesome for a 22LR...

Yeah there good, I got a 4-12 one. I like how they use the little circles for the drop points.
