    Down to 20" is fine.
    My as factory .270Win Sako 75 Finnlight barrel is 20 7/8" (7/8" makes a difference according to the Mrs )

    I would recommend the steel baffle for the DPT cans, as the blast can be erode the alloy baffles pretty quick.
