    "3d printing" with titanium etc is a far cry from the do it yourself at home machines, ie, a couple of orders of magnitude of cost

    Ti is a pretty dumb material choice for a lower too since Aluminium works 100% fine at a much lower price point etc
    Yeah from what I have read the have got it to the point where they can put 100-200 rounds before it self destructs.

    But if you can do it for cheap, why the hell not i suppose.

    I imagine it would just be cheaper to buy a Alu lower than 3D print a Ti one.

    Be a good thing when this new type of self healing, super tough plastic IBM just invented turns up on the market
