Be very careful not to over tighten the action screws on a Tikka with the standard synthetic stock or you risk deforming the stock and buggering up the free floating lug system which is what gives Tikkas their accuracy. If it’s factory synthetic plastic stock then 30-35 in-lbs max. If it’s been pillar bedded or has full bedding job then you can crank up the torque a bit further
This is about right. I unscrewed my new T3x action screws with 35 in/lbs by using a vortex wrench. Therefore I tight the action screws back with 35 in/lbs torque.
