Thread: 7mm PRC Factory Hornady ammo issue

seen the same thing 2-3 years ago with hornady .308 superpreformance in a buddies brand spanking new top end rifle.... similar numbers of failures and similar results on brass and it was completely random as to when in shot string it would occur..and they FELT and SOUNDED hot even through reasonably heavy rifle with suppressor fitted.
put me right off that sort of ammunition completely

I had some 165gr sst stuff about 4 or 5 years ago


First round was good. Second was super stick bolt lift and flattened primer, third round was the same as the second. I got the ammo and gave it to a mate to pull the projectiles and use the cases + projectiles.

Just another reason to reload haha
