Advice on securing a Oceania Defence Muzzle Brake onto a thread

Hey guys I Have a 5/8x24 cyclone muzzle brake/flash hider Oceania Defence which I use with my Oceania Defence Suppressor on my 3030 Marlin Dark.

I was blasting away on the weekend and noticed that the brake had come loose with the suppressor attached. These brakes are not timed on so I was thinking of putting some kind of loc tite on it or maybe trying to put a crush washer on it. Any suggestions?

Just don't want a baffle strike on my ODL can.

Did you hand tight the muzzle break or with any torque tool?

I ring them on Friday regarding this question. They suggest to use crush washer and torque to somewhere you cannot unscrew by hands...

Mine arrived today. I received the 2 port compensator instead of the muzzle brake because they ran out of the stock recently. The manual says you could use shim and optionally red loctite if needed. I've heard people saying using crush washer with suppressor is bad so I went to shims and loctite option straightaway.

Quite interested to know how bad the noise and blast on this is without the suppressor. I considered the two port but was put off it by a few guys on here. I still like the idea of it though.

Yeah you will get decent noise with such short barrel.

By the way, I wonder do you have comment on the accuracy of your rifle? I got horrible grouping (>3') at 100yards with suppressor on, and Horndy leverevolution 160gr ammo.

I've only shot it so far after sighting in at 140m on a gong. It seemed to go where I wanted it to I wasn't going for groups though, more testing the setup especially the suppressor.

Did it shoot better with the suppressor off?

Haven't tried yet. The Hornady Leverevolution bullet tear the target paper almost seems keyholing. I'll try other ammos tomorrow.
