My Vixen wouldn't look right with a carbon stock. I can understand in this day and age why you might, but nah, not for me. Blued and walnut all day long on a rifle of that era

As above, otherwise just use a modern equivalent mini action.

I'd be looking into Howa mini actions , Be a few people wanting to ditch the factory stocks on those.
    Me included.

I'm doing a light weight 75 build at the moment. I'm not thinking I'll get this one carbon wrapped. the process i use is a light weight core and carbon wrap. this one is for a mate who's helped out a lot rather than a paid job. but i should just do 2 builds at once aye. his one will have a resin coating

    Hi,
Your question reminded me I've been on the lookout for a carbon fibre stock for my Sako M591 which is Left Hand.
Not sure if the Vixen inlet is the same or can be modified for the M591 ? Are you able to do a Left Hand stock ?
The pattern I like is Ken Henderson's Hunter stock ( as for Tikka T3 ) with its higher comb.
If this is doable what is your reasonable price range please ?
If I'm dreaming just say so. I won't be offended. Cheers.
