I use a lead lamp with an LED bulb year round, it keeps the median temp inside the safe above the ambient temp outside the safe in the cooler months. Stops water vapour condensing on the metal work when I take them out after a cold night. Also, good because I can see what I'm doing.

Not that it provides an answer but I just put one of these in the top of my safe just for light. My safe is inside a dark cupboard and I can barely see anything. It was $16 and came with a Velcro back and you just push lens to turn off and on. Name: image.jpg

I just use one of those disposable moisture absorbing pot things you get from bunnings and change it out every few months
