Anyone know about firearms co rifles?

There was one on trademe. Looked like a post war Mauser sporter.

Is this true or is it something obscure and unusual?

    Cheers

bit of dr google read that they were initially made from military actions, then later on FN mausers (apparently very much preferred) then santa barbera actions like PH.
Some info also suggests that PH actually made them.

I saw that one too and it seemed to be a good rifle
    BUT
I couldn't find anything else about them other than what has been listed and it seems a weird one - not a lot out there about them. I even checked the Business register in England however no sign of that name. I'd love to know more too - even if just for the detective in us all

Cheers guys. Seems like good actions to fiddle with.

I figured it is worth a nudge at 100 bucks.

    definitely.
If it is a stocked rifle in a good strong mauser action a hundy is a no brainer.
If its a later model with the SB action or the FN even better. Especially if it shoots ok

Yeah that's what I have found out online.

I had an Israeli Mauser in 308 for my first rifle. Was a great shooter just heavy as.

Nah its just a barreled action. I'll have to have a look at it when I get it.

    mauser stocks are everywhere.
Even an old PH stock would be fine
So that's why you were asking about stocks t'other day.

Yeah I have weaver bases too lying around. So some weaver quad locks for 40 bucks and I'm away.

Yup. One will pop up eventually
