Thread: boretech eliminator

I use boretech eliminator for barrel cleaning ,have done for some time . I am no expert but believe it works well. My question is, is it suitable to leave in barrel as a rust preventative . I use in Stainless and blued rifles. A rifle may sit in safe for 6 months or a couple weeks after cleaning . In the past i have usually put them away after running a oily patch. never had any real problems but i dont want to have to clean it again before using , 2 or 3 dry patches fine.
Just lazy really -looking for the quickest easiest cleanest method. Cheers
