    The Anschutz 520 has always been a problem gun and the zinc alloy receiver is just one of the problems. It is not repairable to an acceptable level and to use the appropriate German technological answer - Ist kaput! Now is your opportunity to go a buy a better semi-auto. Do not buy a barrel takedown model if you expect consistent accuracy.

    Just saying, I'd make every effort to get it fixed. Destruction means it must be registered within 5 days, and all other arms items registered within 30 days.

    I've seen mention on American forums of guys attempting to machine up repairs. Not successful.

    They don't/didn't. Made in Italy by Marrocchi (Marocchi?) and badged Anschutz.

    In this case the receiver (or master part) is no longer - and is impossible to repair. The bolt probably still needs registration as a part?
