If it isn't I'll switch to supersonic rounds with a muzzle energy of around 1300 ft.lb, but supersonic rounds designed for medium size game are harder to find than you might imagine. If the supersonics rounds aren't up to the job, I'll go with my head, not my heart and get a 45/70. Probably another Bergara.

which is THE main argument for the x39mm over the blackout...... and I agree 100% about subsonics on big game...it WILL work if everything is spot on.... but supers just do it so much better IN MY OPINION.
