    Mostly use the Hornady 17gr myself. Hopefully of to DPT to talk to them about it tomorrow.

    I had my CZ shortened to 18" and suppressed. Made no difference to average velocity. Ammo is 17g Hornady V-Max.

    I have found 13.5" to do the job well in 17hmr, so much handier around a ute etc-havent notices a differance in my efective range, that said I step up to 223 or 22-250 if Im expecting long shots so trying anything over 150m is a long way for how I use the rifle. have a drop chart on the stock for out past 200 but to be honest dont really dial the 17hmr

    Id guess the erratic results in the other thread are from a cheap chrony. Shooting chrony or similar. The Bulberry test looks more reliable and an Ohler was used.

    No just old guy with old eyes, just put a night force 10-32 x 50 on my 204, why not have "nice" gotta spend my pension on something, thank for paying your taxes

    Anywhere between 150 and 1000 metres depending on who you talk to!
    I'd say 150-200on rabbits, depending on conditions and rifle oh and luck!! 184 is my longest, with good kills.
