    CZ 457

Bedded the first inch of the barrel, 10 shots of SK lr hollow pointed at 50 M. Seems to be effective.

Is it a heavy/varmint-type barrel on the CZ457?
It's just the first inch of barrel...no bedding of the action?
A good job and a good wife has been the ruin of many a good hunter.

CZ Royal so skinny barrel, no action bedding, just first inch of the barrel, inter changable barrel system seems to affect accuracy, trying to stop any movement, vibration. Think even more 1 halve inches would be effective. Noticed the rifle shot marginally better with cardboard jammed, end of the stock, also using a DPT overbarrel suppressor, which adds weight to the end of the barrel, always shot better with the suppressor on, possibly a vibration thing. Worth a try, easy to do & undo if not effective.
