They were noticeably better than the Mojave and conquest especially in brightness, contrast and most important to me field of view- they are like looking through a 8x for FOV amazing. They were neck and neck with the ELS and my mate was amazed at their quality, they missed out on resolution on dusk compared to the swaro by around 5 mins , so fuck all really for the price.
    I highly recommend them.
The ED2s seem to be well priced at Scopeuout (never heard of the site before?).

Not sure at this stage, will wait and see what he does with the upgrade which will probably be in a month. If he wants to sell them after I can give you a message?

I've got a pair of bx-3hds (old bx-4s) recently compared them to ziess conquests. At dusk imo the ziess were a tad sharper and clearer. But for the $$$ that I got my bx3s for then it was worth it otherwise I'd go ziess. No experience with other stuff. Both 10x42.

I used 10x42 Kahles binos for a while. For the price they were excellent. Only design aspect I did not like was a bit of chromatic aberration when looking at very high contrast areas (snow on dark rock). They seem to sell for around $1000 second hand in excellent condition (which is what I sold mine for).

+1 for the Kowas. I have the BD10x32XD and are really impressed with them.
The ED Vanguards are fantastic value and quality. I highly recommend them for hunting and I've used a lot of top brands over the last 55 years. They really ram one up the Euro snobs

I love my Mojave HD pro guides 10x42, I got them over in states for $600 which was less than half price at the time. Think they're between $1000 and $1500 here in NZ. Glass is bloody nice and also just the fit in my hands is great, which is a big thing for me. Nice small compact body as well.
