I have a cheap and cheerful Howa in 6CM that shot a 0.3 MOA group immediately after I had done a half arsed 10 shot barrel “break in” process.

Since then it’s been an absolute farkin’ laser.

There will be something wrong with that rifle of yours. But you already know that too!
