I've done some quick research and some folk are complaining the XR reticle is too thin.

I had one and sold it too a mate of mine who still has it, the mildot reticle works very well in these which is what i had,

they are a fantastic scope mate not stupidly heavy and wicked glass! probably the best glass i have looked through in a tactical scope.

They were purchased by Tangent Theta. They still make the same scope. I’ve not seen one in the flesh but they’re supposedly the same scope.
I have a 5 - 15 light tac. Really nice glass and the Gen 2 Mildot is a practical recticle.
I sent mine to Premier when I bought it as I wanted a target turret installed. Paul Lange was my contact at Premier and he was awesome to deal with. Premier has a very interesting history. They did a lot of work for Leupold in their formative years.
