Remington 597. Started off incredibly accurate and a smooth shooter, eventually kept FTE despite volquartzen extractor, constant cleaning. Basically a single shot semi

    Thank you TradeMe.

In the future when I write my memoirs, they will show l will be glad to have sold atleast half of my current collection and disapointed with half the guns I will replace them with. ... but hopefully they won't be as bad as the .22 Norinco BA with an egg shaped barrel I had.

Baikal single shot 308, and a Remington 7400 308. Both very average.

Had one of these too Fantasic, except would drop 1 shot in 5 regardless of what we did to it - but still shot really really well apart from that one shot. In the end I had to sell to get something a bit more consistent and bought a CZ American in LH that shoots groups of half your thumbnail @ 25 off the rest. Now I just know the inconsistency is me!!!

Amazing what a head fork just one in 5 or 1 in 10 shots can be. The guy who has it now will be really happy with this for shooting rabbits where the tolerances aren't quite the same!

I would expect a good 22 to shoot that at 50m at least.

It does at 50 as well, and a nice weight for Silhouette too... but I didn't want to be up my own bum hole saying its a single ragged hole - as I said the rest is me... but all that trigger time is good spent practicing..

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I bought one of those. You are so right...

But once stripped , cleaned and couple of internet mods done its actually an awesome fun gun. No one cleans them properly as it
throws every spring in the world into the darkest corners of the room when pulled to bits. They recommend you strip it inside of a plastic bag to contain them.
Four reassembly attempts with a day or two in between them to regain lost patience. ha ha
The one I got was so filthy inside it wasn't funny. It wouldn t even cycle ...
Mint as now like brand new and a good piece of something different plus fun to shoot. Never failed to cycle or mis behaved and accurate enough ..
"This is my Flag... Ill only have the one ..
