Im not so sure, I had one of these in 7-08 and even a mild load had you bashing it to get to-he action open, surface rust was also quiet bad on the frame, certainly a lightweight rifle with an OK trigger.

Hey I shoot a 500S&W on one of these frames and have zero issues, No idea why it couldn't handle normal loads ?? I was reloading a Tikka 7-08 SVarmint at the same time and the diff was night and day

My 2cp

Tikka, Howa, Browning, Sauer, Ruger are almost equivalent to the toyota/nissan/honda/mazda/subaru (no sequence) for rifles. Any of these brands will work. Sako, Benelli or Custom rifle if you want a BMW / Mercedes.

then that would make a Shultz and Larsen the Rolls Royce
