Well a couple of weeks ago I fell into some cash as a mate had spotted a couple of fishing poles of mine that he wanted to look after at his place...

As happens the cash pretty soon fell out of my pocket and was replaced by a Volquartsen 22 in my safe... Pretty nice although everyone keeps saying I've gone over to the darkside now.... whatever that means??

Anyhow very happy will be flicking on the glass as I pull the Vortex off the Tikka and the great optic swap begins again...

And Two weeks later @BRADS puts up a spanking good 260 for sale.... arrrghh obviously I need to check in with him every time I go to buy something..

    here's a wee shot

Thanks Mac - being in Auckland it's probably a bit more practical that yet another centrefire. Was a bit of a steal really was going to buy it just for the B&C odyssey stock - the rest was bonus, but a very nice one now to bed it put a rear tang on and replace the 2lb volquartsen trigger for a Kidd. 2 stage - Then if the test boxes I've put through it are any guide it should be a even tighter ragged single hole.
Few teething issues with extraction from the match chamber but we have a plan for that...

What the fuck were you thinking Carpe Diem? You could have shouted Scouser and I a beer with that dosh in your hand.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Haha Gibbo they call it a compensator but really it's there to protect the crown supposedly.

Maybe I bring it for a shoot off with Dundee in the .22 div.
