@buzzman, is that a Sako in 7mm Rem Mag? If it is maybe @Gibo can tell us if the velocity is correct as my Tikka shoots 2900ft/s with 69.5gn of 2217 behind 162gn Amax's.

    Please keep us updated.

    Cheers, Mac

For these 168gn projectiles i use 2225, i was shooting 168gn Sierra MK out of a Tikka Varmint 22" barrel at 3080ft/s avg., is that "correct" or expected Gibo?

About right, mine is 72gns 162 A-Max doing 2950. If it shoots well don't try and chase 100fps to get to 3000fps even if you like the number

Picked this up off @alanimal the other week and gave it a bit of a spruce up and a recoil pad.
Testing in a couple of weeks when I've loaded the ammo I want to use with it

As a b day gift for the daughter ( in a few weeks, she's been on at me to get her one for about a year....).

Had to go and give it a go, to make sure all was OK etc.... impressed with the grouping.

Tried cci subs and rem sub sonic (as advised this is the quietest, but not that good). Both really good, cci better but noticeably louder.

Looking forward to seeing her open the parcel and shooting time with her.

I went and bought a kids rifle days after finding out my partner was pregnant the fist time, he is still to young to use it but I'm enjoying my mates photos of his girls using it.
