    Bought a new Kimber Hunter in 257Roberts for a bargain. The caliber has always fascinated me.

    Randomly loaded up some 110 ELDX with 47 grns R19. SAAMI spec length. Velocity should be circa 2900.

    Raining. Laying on the ground shooting over a lump of fire wood with a coat over it. A few shots getting on the target. Pic shows last 2 shots. All of the sight in shots would have gone into the same 1" group. Not too shabby without much forethought or load development. Just a little 3-12 'scope. Neat little set up. Heaps of potential.

    After sorting out burris scope this morning i settled on the 3 shot group at a 100yds then dialed down 2 clks.Using Hornady 150gr ssts.Name: 20220727_153347.jpg Views: 489 Size: 84.4 KB

    Little 3-9x36 Diavari on my Kimber (thanks @chainsaw ) was going to run it on my Forbes but couldn't resist trying it out on the Kimber and I like it, handles and points beautifully. Could possibly mount a smidge lower with some Talleys.

    Got a German made one (3-9 x 36)with the *T coating. Very nice optics. However to zero it the movements are reverse to other scopes!

    point of aim not point of impact.....the old old redfield bear cub I had was like that... ended writing it on scope caps as always seemed to forget.

    after all these years its still my biggest struggle when zeroing and fucking with windage can never remember if im taking the impact back to center from left or right or moving the cross heir to the impact mind blown everytime think I finally have it at the moment but because it hasnt being long since I zeored a scope
