I like the stock. Kind of a semi hogsback. Was it a private sale or is some outfit importing them?

@Ryan Songhurst you’re certainly keeping this thread alive! 😀

I can see why you grabbed one though, I fondled one in Upper Hutt last week (might go back again today) and they do feel nice and light.

I had one of the earliest Howa 7mm08s stolen from my flat in 1993, I’m tempted to grab one for old times sakes; of course it’ll be different, but also the same.

It was a rifle Steve Blenkarne made for me. One of the first 7-08's made here. Howa action and Pac-Nor barrel. It was a laser. I gave it to Craig. Fortunately when it was pinched from Craig's flat the bolt was seperate so it wouldn't have been much use to the thief.

give it another 4 days and the thread will die..except for overseas folks and those who have done the "big thing coming"....
it will be like hunting photos posted during lockdown being used as evidence of your activities.... the date photo taken wasnt taken into account
post up photo of new rifle and expect it to be seen as a triggering event.

Also the scope mount is backwards because of the extended side charging handle. Since swapping to the BCM charger, I can revert that to the correct way once I've used up my current supply of 55gr and re-zero using 62gr loads.

Got my 1952 Fazakerley No4Mk2 today.
Has had a newer barrel fitted at some stage in its life (not FTR). But I wanted a shooter, not an all matching collector.
