Thought I'd add... My two moose machines.
    Sako 75 270 and 85 .308.
Taken three nice boars with the 270 (go figure) and three deer with the 30. The 85 is all I'd hope for. Got bloody close to diving in on a Kimber wood 308. But loved the other 75 too much to move to far away.
    Zeiss 3-9 on the 270 & leu 2-7x33 on Te 308...
Run a 44 mag for the pigs in Kroa and also own a Parker Hale 308 from the late grandfather.
    To meke much.

Nice!!! Have you weighed it? I want to build something very similar on a rem 700 but a bit more alpine friendly. Didnt know Stug made those A3ish type stocks! do you know what the weight of it was? Cheers mate

Weight of stock and rest ect including limbsaver and bedding is 1kg apparently.

Will be interesting to get a final weight on it, at a guess 12-13lb but could be way off

Ha ha yeah it was quite close, have made some finer adjustments on scope positioning and easily clears.
Did a basic load "development" and definitely has potential. Gave neckshots gongs a smash up anyway!

The special coating I applied to the eye piece and objective lenses should enhance luminosity somewhat. You will be snotting thar in near dark conditions
