    Hardy Suppressor... THIS or THAT

Hey guys looking to put a suppressor on my .308 Tikka T3. Ive narrowed it down to the Hardy Gen 5 suppressor and the Gen 5 STEALTH suppressor.. not entirely sure of the difference and what would be BEST in terms of quietness and accuracy.

    Any comments welcome! Cheers

DPT for lightness or MAE for max effect and longevity.

I've got a Dan Hardie on my 6.5 and very happy, have one one my 17hmr and its noisy, have a DPT on my 17 hornet, very quiet but needs a SS baffle on the first one, it's nearly stuffed the steel one in about 300 rounds, maybe I expect to much?

What's so great about the MAE? Weight is not a concern

lots and lots of hard/thin stainless baffles, you just cant make an alloy muffler the same and expect it to survive.

Without coming across rude, MAE work, I have this bugger on my .300 Win Mag (combo for sale )and frankly the noise reduction allows me to shoot without hearing protection and the recoil reduction is superb... yes heavier and pricing, but you get what you pay for, give Gary or Jeff a call, you never know what they may have in the workshop

Have you tried using a different sling system???? I got converted ( it took a while to convince me!!) over to a Safari Sling many years ago ( BP2-BKW) & I now swap it between rifles. Any competent gun store should have one in stock?? Kilwell are the importers (ex-USA) Similar set up to the way you see the M60 machine gun carried on "Tour of Duty".

    WEIGHT PROBLEM GONE!!!!!!

Only caution using one is: tape the muzzle of your rifle to avoid surprises!!!!!

Or just buy a good lightweight silencer and avoid a problem you didn't create for yourself in the first place!
