She declined all of my E-cat permits requests, including one where the local AO had accidentally added some five round mags onto the E-cat permit request (required by a US exporter).

Glad to hear she's gone - hope the new one is better.

Stuff for yourself, or resale as a dealer?

I have heard talk that permits were being yayed or nayed by someone else and that she was simply signing them off. I have also heard that this someone else may be the next person in the big chair. Something to look forward to?

She declined both my personal stuff and dealer stock, stating that dealers are not permitted to import items for stock (Gun City says this on their website too). The only approval I got from her for stock was for a load of pistols, but they were B cat and the law permits restocking imports. My last E-cat approval for stock was in May for hi-cap mags (just released from Customs last week), but all others have been declined. I think I might have to manufacture them myself instead.

The Q is, Why do you want it?

I have an import permit for a 1913 bayonet sitting here I just got, while I search for one (they last 12months), but I had to have a good reason to satisfy my AO to get it.

looks like no permit if you order from fishpond, plus they have it under the category Kitchen Knifes.I might get one just because I can
