So who got one of the Excl chassis from Ken? I went to get one today and they are all sold out already!
I would rather be shot out of a cannon, than squeezed out of a tube.

@Jewcati
Yeah I grabbed one, I have Howa 300blk Mini action with an Oceania Defence can and brake and a Swaro z6i 1-6 on it.
I'm going to throw it in the chassis and chop it to just after where the chassis ends (chassis itself is just over 762mm closed stock) so just the muzzle brake sticks out for the suppressor to lock onto. Barrel will still be 12-13" so that's fine for 300blk.
Should be a nice lightweight little subsonic rifle.
Picked mine up from broncos Tauranga yesterday nice chassis light mag setup is far nicer than standard mini setup put it all together tonight lop adjustment is nice seems fairly stiff not much flex has sling swivel attachment comes with a shorter front action screw as chassis is not as deep as the standard stock rear screw is the standard off to the range in the morning see how it shoots will put some pics up tomorrow

So, is it pillar bedded or not? Impossible to see in the 5.56 video.
If it isn’t pillar bedded, is there realistic room for adding them?
Just...say...the...word
No pillars but looks to be enough meat there to install some

@Flyblown Yes, Pillar bedded, black alloy pillers. Make sure it has the front action screw. Mine was missing, so had to stack some washers to make it work. Fair bit of twist in the front hand guard section, but plenty of barrel clearance so no contact points.
Anyone got their hands on this? Be interested to see how it feels in hand
@CamFlatt, feels nice in hand, well balanced.
Balance point just infront of mag, mag release is excellent and no way it can be accidentally dropped.
Foregrip is flexible, if you have a bipod attached without a tilt function, there is enough flex to tilt.
This may sound like a negative, but it never feels fragile, and there is tonnes of clearance so no chance of barrel contact.
Unfortunately, nowhere near the original 500grams.
But still lighter than stock.
Also has pillars!

Thanks mate. With the variable LOP do you think the chassis could be utilised as a youth stock as well as more man sized one?
