    Howa Stocks - Short Action

    Other than paying the earth and going carbon fiber - has anyone found a stock that is lighter than the grotty Hogues?
    Keen to drop some weight.... and yep - aware of the alpine stock, just a bit nervous about how robust that will be.

    Wingman has made/designed some really good ones..... there is whole thread on them.
    you could just buy DannyBs howa .223 and you will have tidy wooden stock....

    Yup, had one on my old Weatherby vanguard 223 (same as howa)
