I'm awaiting barreled actions for a few more which will hopefully be ready next week. I'm quite a fan of the few flat dark earth Ceracoated ones too

What an outstanding lineup. The second one on the right in the first photo looks like mine!! Love the folding stock option as well. Is this one of your developments?

Yours is the 12.5" carbon Grendel 2nd from the left in the first pic. It's all done and ready to send.

There's loads of folding stock attachments available for the 1913 stock system, the one pictured is a Sig knuckle.

I prefer the smaller compact ones like this:

I knew it. Sorry, it’s a terrible affliction of mine, I meant left. Once I field test mine a bit I’ll see if it warrants an upgrade to a folder but I do like the look of it and can see advantages in it. Have gone off using a sling and times that I’ve needed both hands I generally just tuck the Tikka across my chest under the bino harness which works very well with a light compact rifle.

Oh you mean my wife's right.. her right is my left too.. that one has taken us on many driving "detours"...

You can't fit a folding stock to yours as it would be way under length.. you need a full length 22" barrel or permanently fixed muzzle device to keep it within the legal 762mm OAL when folded.

@Micky Duck, absolutely awesome in hand, beautiful to handle. A tad heavier than 3.2kg, The Grendel Suppressor is on the wifes 223, so the 270wsm Magnum Suppressor is on the Grendel. But still balances nicely, and no POI shift.

perfect...LEAVE IT ALONE for 12 months and then decide if want to shorten..... you may decide its good enough as it is,I know I like my wee shorty rifle at times but most of the time happy to carry a longer one.

    Or... chop it.
There are only benefits from running a short compact Grendel, once you go short you'll never bother with a long barrel again. The animals won't know the difference at the ranges these small cartridges were inteded to be used at.
Even a longer 14.5" Grendel barrel gets 2500fps with 123gr.
"Long barrels are for getting inefficient old school magnum cartriges full of slow burning powder up to speed"
The Grendel runs about the same hunting energy as a .243win only it runs slower with a heavier bullet. As long as you use light jacketed varmint/tipped target bullets it will kill just like a .243win. I have dropped animals with my 10.5" barrel to a little over 500m however the Grendel really is a 300m cartridge unless you really trust yourself to hit a 6" target out at 500 consistently.
Know your rifle, know your ballistics and know your limits.

Good effort on the goats, another customer just sent some pics of his first deer with his Elude custom 6.5 Grendel too.
