    Leupold VX-3

Gun city have a sale on some of their Leupold scopes at the moment.. People here seem to hate Gun City but I can't find a cheaper price for this scope anywhere else. Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x50 B&C Matte 1"
Is this a good price and is this a good scope? Anyone used it?

Nah mate, that isn't a sale.
They've jacked the prices up compared to a week ago.

There is a sports shop in Taihape thats rumored to have the cheapest Leupolds in NZ apparently.
I think I saw that mentioned on this forum, so don't know if its true or not!

You look him up in the phone book, then pick up the phone and ring him. Its not difficult. Bit old fashioned, but it works for me.
    He’s very helpful.

Thank you for the advice. Got a vx3 3.5-10x50. Recommended Taihape Sports!

I stop in that Sports Shop every time I'm in Taihape to fix an ATM.
Always helpful, old fashioned staff running an old fashioned business, and it works well.

Very few people escape Gile's shop without buying something. He is a master salesman, and understands what personal service means.
