What's everyone's thoughts now a little more time has passed, the VX6 getting approval from most ?

Im interested in the feedback too. Looking at either a vx6 or a Swarovski Z5. Z5 easily has it in the bag for brightness but their BT system would take some time to get used too, plus the extra 300 could be the difference between a new Ar or not.

Dialed mine to 1300 and something yards yesterday, elevation spot on.
    Glass is nice.
2 power is great in the bush.
    I like it.

I'm looking at further thoughts chaps.
    Weight?
    Value? Lol
    Size?
The 2-12 seems ideal for mine. I am currently using 2-7

Do they come out with an moa turret as standard or do you have to buy it separate? Would the mark 4 still be a better scope than the vx6?
Save our Tahr. They belong in the southern alps.

Had to get MOA turret separate, was easy though, my local retailer sorted it. I have both a MK4 and a Vx6 and would much rather use the Vx6. Nicer to look through, Lower profile turrets, not as bulky, price was good.

I’ve dialed my 2-12 out to 500yds, hit the gong, and then back ok. MOA turret. Shot a couple of deer but didn’t need to dial.
Getting it focussed through the whole power range took a fit of fidling around, but I’ve got it right. I wear glasses.

Sighting it in originally was a breeze. Just 3 shots. That’s usually a good sign.

    I’m pleased with it.

I’m waiting for a 3-15 Zeiss HD5 (dialing lock turrets) for my 6.5 at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how they compare. About the same price. Same weight.
    HD5 25mm tube, VX6 30mm.

Vx6 is the shit. I love mine, have it on my 7-375r.

Shot a 1 moa rock at 720 yards yesterday morning 1st shot using the cds turrets.

Glass is great, weight is good.

Alumia caps make it even sweeter to have as an allround gun.

Are they in NZ with a fine crosshair ?

I don't like the thicker crosshair on the B&C reticle
