About LinkBackseven with only 100 thou of free bore (very short) you still can't seat amaxes in a model 7 7 saum and reach the lands, if you are even mildly ocd about reloading then generally you mess with seating depthPlenty of 7mm saums run good as in model 7s, if it's that much of a worry get the chamber set back so you can find the lands, that would be an easier option than wildcatting the case
I have been known to miss or maim one load per rifle and a full mag for me
