My mauser has factory ceracote and I wouldn't write home about it. I'd almost prefer blued seeing how the bluing wears off on the bolt ect.

99% sure it was our mate 257weatherby who redid his in a deep blue coating of some sort...made a stainless steel rifle appear to be blued.
    75/15/10 black powder matters

Yeah a lot of rifles that are factory cerakoted suffer from a sub par job. Getting it done from @BigEarl69 who did a previous rifle I owned, the finish was excellent

What was wrong with the caliber? Just asking as im considering a 6.5 again and ive had a 6.5CM before and know it well, but never a PRC. Its between those 2 for me at the moment but ive got all the reloading stuff for the CM sk if PRC is a waste of time then ill just get a CM.

Purpose will be hunting, at longer ranges
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

Didn't give performance much better than my 6.5x55 for more powder and mucking around. Would be fine if its all you had but the margin over a 6.5x55/.260 isn't great.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
