It just makes sense to me.

Modern military load carrying equipment has been designed to be rugged, lightweight and modular. The same attributes any hunter or outdoors man/woman would consider important for gear selection.

A slimline molle belt (AKA war belt) can comfortably carry all the equipment required for for quick access while hunting; monocular, magazine, knife, first aid kit, canteen and GPS. For those not wanting a belt rig, a compact chest rig such as a OSOE Micro Chest Rig would carry most of the required gear.

Some may accuse you of trying to be rambo, but this is the 21st century we aren't carrying a musket and deeskin bag of shot and powder anymore. Nothing wrong with change, some people are just scared of it. If that bothers you, you can order your gear in pink from OSOE.

I might be a bit biased as I have a closet full of military gear and I now need to find a new use for it.
