Okay so last weekend had bit time on my hand so friend and I hit 4 stores on Saturday, mainly bit of tyre kicking but happy to spend some hard earned $$ if we spotted something, one thing I kept seeing in each store was these MTM .30cal zombie ammo cans, nothing new about that, but it was the amount of stock out on the floor that raised the eyebrow, 2-3 pallets dotted around one store stacked 5-6 high.

Did MTM just do a big dump of their zombie cans this side of the world prob cause they can't ship them up north ..?
With the amount I saw around the place they must have been going cheap, but the retail prices on them too high for me.
Some places got them for round $26 bucks, I would be happy to pay $9.99 for them

They bombed them out in the US a while ago for $8.99
I have 1/2 dozen of them I got in an order late last year

I struggled to find some after i worked out what i needed, its good to know more are available now, just need some coin!!!!!

i got 8 of the 50 cal in green, but at $25 each. plus i brought a 40gm rechargeable silica box for each one, it was a big expense, but then ammo, is not cheap, so it is worth looking after.

still need about 4 more, maybe more if i kept primers and powder in them as well.

$8.99 far better than the $25 plus bucks they want for em

I use a 25l bin from the Warehouse. Carries everything for the range/comp in one container, easy to store, carry and keeps the water out. Can't store ammo in it, that stores on the shelves in the gunsafe. But then the Zombie ammo containers are plastic, plastic hinge and lip and could be broken open by an angry child. I have one due to a stupid spur of the moment purchase.
