Thread: Muzzle Break Efficiency

    Thanks for the replies fella's .
    I didn't realize that I might be starting a " Us vs Them " " Holden vs Ford " type of thing when I started the thread .
    I honestly just thought I'd ask what type of Brake is " Proven "the most efficient .
    I value everyones contributions and a few here have steered me towards other links so I can further my hunt for knowledge .

    I agree with you sneeze , the 7mm doesn't need a lot of taming and the current Brake on it goes along way already , but my 13 year old son would shoot it better and appreciate a lighter kick . I feel if technology is out there why ignore it .

    If its about making it more shootable for your teenager I think Id go for a chunky suppressor instead. Maybe not the overall recoil reduction but a little extra weight and much reduced noise and blast would be of equal or more benefit

    I wish we could have the option of suppressors , even if I could I probably would not use one on this rifle , but I do own a couple that I'd suppress in a heartbeat .
