Thread: New 22LR shopping

With any mass produced rifle there will be a variation in accuracy. I've had a new Ruger stainless bolt action and a 10/22, both heavy barrels and they have shot very well indeed. They are both from the newer "hammer forged" generation of Rugers and I think if you buy new (so getting one of these hammer forged barrels) you'll probably get a shooter with every chance of it being a real humdinger.
