Ive handled one at a local gun show, Heavy, but I was sure impressed, with the peep sight system,

Does it have plastic bolt shroud and bottom metal?

The mags anyway look metal with that cased one

its a CTR variant so it would be the sako trg mag wont it?

Had the chance to shoot it last week.

It handles beautifully, and as expected from tikka/sako does that job.
Factory ammo gave me a 3 shot group with approx 1 inch or a little less.

Here in germany you can order the rifle without any problems

Some interesting videos on YouTube about the tender for this contract. CZ appears to have developed the 557 just for this. Pity it missed out as it is a lovely rifle. The tikka is very fit for purpose though. https://youtu.be/9axqSfGddJ0
