    Nikon P900

    Hey Guys.
Just wondering if anyone on here is using a p900 and can give me a tip of two. I have not long had the camera bought second hand but I am really struggling to get a decent clear photo of anything when using the zoom, have tried most setting but itís all pretty new to me, any help much appreciated. Cheers

Thanks for that I have tried doing as mentioned but still carnt seem to get a clear image, acouple mates are running the Canon SX60’s and they are out performing it by far even with the Nikon’s superior Zoom, I’m sure I must have something setup up wrong, or I bought someone’s dud ha.

I have tried all the modes on mine and have found the green camera one works the best. In low light I have to zoom out a bit to get a clear shot otherwise the photo is unreasonable.

I find it hard to get a clear photo using such huge zoom, I get better results filming short bursts of video off a tripod then grabbing a still off that

There is an "anti vibration " feature that may have been disabled, think it's in the menu screen somewhere?

Cheers, I’m pretty sure I have the anti vibration on, will have abit more of a play with afew seetings and failing that I might just go back to the spotter.

Take the photo on a lower zoom setting. This will also help you focus. You can then 'zoom' into the photo further once it's been taken.

Also have a play with the auto focus settings. I find 'spot' focus to work best.

There's a lot to taking a good photo and the auto settings will only get you so far.

If i remember right..mine was like this for a while after I mucked around with the settings. it took me a few minutes but I got it back to how it should have been. Might have been something to do with the auto-focus being turned off???

A good way to get clear photos zoomed in is to set the 2 second timer if it has one, then take the photo. Stops the camera being moved when you push the shutter button.

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
