Ah, but once the new model arrives the old one will only be worth $350. Well thats what they'll offer as trade-in price, while paying for articles in the magazines to say how much better the new one is.

let's face it Tikka's never die they just get more expensive (usually because the next models is not as good).

I wonder how they are going to make a cheaper tikka?
That gun is that simple I have it taken apart in under 3 min usually.
The one thing they could do is produce something similar to the ruger american with a savage nut:
So, a big bolt with three lugs, which simplifies the action manufacture, and the nut to simplify the headspacing.
Of course they ll produce another plastic magazine, so the old ones become obsolete:-(
And they might come with a stock in an even more flimsy plastic.

All that is just a guess, but they would have to really pull their fingers out to come with a better product than the current one.

It also is going to piss off all the accessory manufacturers who have allowed us to customise that gun.

How are they going to name it? The T4?
