NZ Post up to frks, 2 month delay and told me that they won't deliver to WLG

These useless cnts are the worse I have seen in NZ in 20 years. Never dealt with any organisation this useless and politically fked up.
First advised me that my reloading gear and bipod needed a permit after 3 weeks of chasing it with customs.
Then 2 month after the customs released, I called everyweek to see where the fk they are upto with delivering my parcel to Wellington.
Got a phone call today saying that it has been sitting at customs for collection as NZ post would not deliver any firearms related items in their network.
I paid international express to get the parcel delivered to Wellington, now have to get someone to pick up and deliver to another courier service to get down to WLG.

How fkn ridiculous is that !!!
I ask them for a refund of my courier cost, they said " I'm really sorry, but Unfortunately ......"

I just want o rant about it.
Anyone else had the same experience?

yeah that makes no sence.... if its not a firearms then it should be deliered. I tried to send a carbon fibre stock last week, in box, never used etc... they said no they couldnt. so i re-wrapped it in another box and resent it.

And then they sneer at us when we say we're vilified and victimised for the March 15 police failure.

Battery charger or fuel injector parts at the very least. Green house gases and so forth...

They pick and choose what is delivered, still get firearm related parts delivered by them from certain retail outlets.

I clicked "like" because it was a good point to raise about the inconsistency, but I actually wanted an "I despise this" button. )-:<

I'd like to see them found out it was explosives and shit themselves and close the main depot for the day and fuck up their whole postal system and delay everything for a week. hahaha..... that would be funny, wouldn't it !! I bet it will make the news too.
Just to tell the retards " look, we are doing our job of checking " .

Was listening to a submitter yesterday afternoon. He mentioned the example of needing to get a leaf spring made for a shotgun.

Under the new laws, whoever he gets to do that would need to apply to the commissioner of police.

I guess my lathe and mill will have to be used for less "dangerous" activities going forward

Or you could make a fortune making replica parts that just happen to also work.

A lot of gun parts are standard engineering spec screws, springs, take bedding pillars are just collet sleeves. You just need decent information available for the specs of individual parts, a good idea to sit down and measure / photograph every part first time you take your gun apart, for that day.

Sweden used to have a law you couldn't order a beer in a restaurant without also ordering a meal. You had to check if you actually wanted the meal that it wasn't one of the "reused" meals with cigarette ash, etc. on it. Own an air gun.

How would the NZ Post employees feel when they are just going through the process of what they have been trained to do and say on the phone to the customers when they know it's not going anywhere for the customer and no result will be given for 2 month. I called 10 times at least and spoke to the same employees at least 3 times. They sounded like trained robots just has the same reply: " I will send an enquiry through and expect to get a reply from them asap". "I understand your frustration, but unfortunately......."
    For fucks sakes !!!
