Yup. Like anything, if you don't continue to innovate and improve you cease to be relevant and price increases basically render your product commercially obsolete. Tikka in my opinion are in this same position, despite the fanboi hype it doesn't do anything that any other rifle doesn't. With a smaller amount of available accessories and usually at a higher price for what is about. One thing you can say for the Rem platform - it's effectively a default industry standard.
